Yes Averil, we have had overnight temps of 8c here. Not got a telltale thermometer in the g/h so not sure what it's been down too in there. Could be the reason why one of my dr's is looking so darned crook, as most of its leaves are indeed yellowing. It was 11c when I went to work this morning at 8.45, when I came home at 5.45 it was 19c...better but not that good for this time of the year, especially when it was 34 a few weeks ago. At least it's not rained today as we have had continual rain for days on end, swirling low cloud and little light. Dare I mention that the nights are now drawing in??

Hi Gill, I usually have healthy foliage on my plants but this year they are nearly naked. I don't have a thermometer that records night time temps but I think they are probably lower than DR thrive in. It's been a bad summer and the nights are definitely drawing in. Any news on Brian?

Nope, not heard from him, really concerned, he was a nice guy when he came to my place of work with my DR prezzies. I'll try again to contact him.

I had a few good weeks of sun but lately it's been lots and lots of cloud, random downpours - thankfully though not constant - and tons of wind. And I'm not talking breezy lift your skirt kind of wind. I'm talking taking down massive branches off of trees, ripping siding off of houses and three days in a row of tornado warnings with clearly visible funnel clouds that thankfully never quite touched down kind of wind. Kind of hard to leave ones plants outside to get some good sun when you're afraid they're going to end up in a mangled mess in the neighbours yard four houses down.

Lots of rain here in not so sunny or hot Florida.

Oh well I'm not the only one suffering lol. Gill, I hope Brian is ok
