Hello Derek, unfortunately these pictures are for aesthetic and portfolio uses. The fabrication of the trellis is build with two different components. The structural/support of the trellis is the triangular truss and post system built out of tube steel metal all welded together and the post set 4' deep in 2' diameter piers. the upper pergola is constructed of 3 x 10 clear western red cedar beams that are mitered and returned down the backside of the trellis. These beams are stained. The beams return to the ground on the backside sit into a specially measured and fabricated strut that has a boot to accept each beam. The beams are not secured to the strut in any way. the sit into a boot about 4-5" allowing the material to expand and contract without pulling and the horizontally run pergola pieces on the top. Then of course the glass on top is 1/2' clear safety tempered. The actual construction the glass is two pieces of 1/4" laminated together for additional strength to deal with the pine cones that are falling from the 100' tall trees in the back of this picture. Hopefully that helps.

Hi Derek, did you have any luck with the recreation. I am going to start one too. I like everything about this design. Any advice?
