Ground orchid summer dormancy?

Hi all! I've looked everywhere and been unable to find any information about whether Chinese ground orchids (bletilla) will go dormant during a very hot summer.

Mine here in Central Texas have been in the ground for several years, in a shady patch under light oak canopy, have bloomed well nearly every year, and multiplied.

We had an extremely wet spring and the ground where they were planted was like a bog and they looked terrible so I dug them up and potted them to dry out a bit. Now they're going brown. Is it possible they're going into a summer dormancy in our 100 degree heat?

Any advice would be appreciated!
