Thanks, I just want to know though if these are from are just weeds or from the wildflower seeds that I planted as they are growing where I put the seeds.

Could you provide us with a list of the seeds from your box? That would really narrow it down. Yours doesn't look particularly like anything I recognize off hand. Do the leaves have a scent when crushed?

Unfortunately on the box it never said what seeds they were, it was wild, red wildflowers. If it were on the box, I would had checked the certain seeds to see what they looked like when growing. No it doesn't have any smell really, I don't mind it growing because I actually think it looks quite nice in the grass, but just wanted to know if it was a wildflower plant.

Keithog, I believe you are in the UK, aren't you? If so I am wondering if you really had a British wild flower mixture or if you sowed an annual flower mixture. I say this because there are very few British wild flowers which are red and I don't see any other foliage in your photo which looks like any native flowers. Furthermore, I've never seen a native wild flower mix which was colour coordinated. However there are plenty of annual flower mixes in colours. Is it possible you bought a meadow mix like these?Meadow mixtures

The reason I am asking this is that if it is a meadow mix there is a huge range of possibilities and I would leave your plant until it flowers just to be sure.

Yes I'm in the UK! I'm just not sure, I threw away the box too so I can't even check to see. I remember it said wildflower and that the flowers were red, I got the box from the poundshop. I think they could be both annual and ones that come back. Yes it was exactly that the meadow mixture and the box had that kind of picture too. I'll probably just have to wait until it flowers. I don't know if you can see in the pictures the reddish plant, do you know what it's called?

The reddish plant could be an amaranth.
