Update on wildflower garden :)
I have been very busy being very lazy as the summer has been so hot and my dh and I have been preparing for our first baby ! Due in November , she had caused me to have nausea and exhaustion the first 4 months of spring / summer . All totally worth it of course! I was so happy to log in here and see a request for an update on my zinnia bed up front . When I planted the seeds we were expecting rain. Well we got a huge downpour and I know a lot of seeds got washed away but more than enough stuck around . we love the result and so do the many many butterflies and finches! I don't see any other wild flowers growing here but zinnias . Not sure why ! Here are some photos . I was thrilled today when the mailman asked me about it and said he was going to do the same next year !!
It may look a little weedy in the photos ( and it is !) but the overall look is awesome and it makes us smile to see all the butterflies when we pull up !! Thanks for checking it out ! :) hope y'all are having a great summer as well ! :)
