I need advice on the proper length of drapes. Our beautiful new drapes have been installed in our Living Room and Dining Room. Their length is such that they come to a hair above the floor. When moving, they slightly brush the hardwood floor as they glide across. My husband thinks they need to be shortened 1/2". I think that will be too short.
