Bean Production and Sizing

This year, I planted about 90 Blue Lake bush beans as two batches. When the first batch came to production, there was a burst and I had good harvest for several days. Then the production dropped. There was a week or so with very low production. Now with the 2nd batch coming to its peak, again I had good production today. In addition, I have 15 Dragon Tongue bush beans, 6 Chinese long beans, and 6 other pole shell beans. They have not come to production yet.

With 90 bush beans, I do not see I have any surplus beans. So I just wonder how many bush bean plants folks normally plant to feed a family of 4 or 5. We can have beans 3-4 times a week.

Any other bush beans that are more productive than Blue Lake?
