My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The pergola is planted with an old-fashioned vine called "Dutchman's Pipe". Once established, it will create a very lush canopy.

    what type of wood is used and how is it weather treated?

    We specified clear red western cedar for the pergola, left unfinished. Eventually it will weather to a silver-grey color.
