This woody shrub/sapling has popped up every year for several years in our Madison backyard. We've been meaning to use Roundup on it but instead just end up cutting it down each year. I've always assumed it was a black walnut sapling, but looking closer at it this year it seems like the leaves are too broad for walnut. Can anyone please confirm? Thanks!
