how to paint kitchen cabinets

I wanted a "french country" look, so I have cherry cabinets and some mustard yellow cabinets. But, now it is too dark. I'm thinking of painting the cherry cabinets grey. How do I go about this big project. Once cabinets are painted I'll have to change the tile back splash. Again, a big project. Need your help

YouTube has a lot of tutorials. This is very labor intensive and the prep work is important.

yes, you strip (with something like TPS), then sand (and sand...), then prime, then paint. you need to take all the doors and drawers out to do this properly, and remove the pulls. it can be done, but budget a couple of weeks!

If you don't want to go to all that work, and personally I never would!, check out Benjamin Moore's Advance paint line. According to them "it is a hybrid of latex and oil and requires very little prep".
