Short of water?

Well, I thought about how the tips looking droopy could mean they need water, but typically the whole plant would be droopy, not just the tips....as this has happened to another one I am growing in a traditional pot. But this is planted in one of those containers that you add water into a tube and it fills the bottom reservoir and the water wicks into the soil--I add water every day, as I can see into the tube and see that it still has water and needs to be topped off. In theory, you can't over or under water. I'm sure confused as to what is going on!!

I believe it is a fungal infection called Early Blight... If so the only way to " get rid of it", if you lucky, is to remove all infected plant tissue. This includes leaves and stems...make sure none have fallen and are on the soil etc. After that, pray it slows so that you can get some tomatoes before it takes the plant.

What at I have read about it is that it stays in the soil...don't use the same soil or pot for next years tomatoes. Again I am not confident but that's what I believe it is.

Thanks for a great suggestion. I have been removing the worst of it, and did spray with a fungicide.....I'll definitely wash my pots with a bleach mixture at the end of the season for next year, and keep a sharper eye next year to catch problems earlier!

I treated with a fungicide and while the plants don't look any better (and I wouldn't expect them to), the good news is, they don't look any worse and the fruit looks good! Turns out my other plants with the half-eaten tomatoes had caterpillars/worms, and I've gotten rid of them and have beautiful tomatoes ripening. So thankful for all the great advice on this forum!
