If there is one thing in gardening that is totally bogus, then that is the concept that an organically grown seed is in any way whatsoever different than an any other seed. There will be not one single molecule in that seed that will make it into any edible fruit or seed.

Ignore all that tirade if yours is a purely philosophical question. In that case, the entire concept is bogus. This is the point of view of someone who INSISTS his garden be 100% organic!

Foods grown with organic methods, regardless of the seed source, except for Genetically Engineered seeds, would be organic. Seeds saved from plants grown organically would be considered organic unless they had been cross pollinated from plants that cam from Genetically Engineered plants. For the most part with foods grown in the average backyard garden this would be mostly corn, since much of the corn today (unless the seed came from a certified organic source) is contaminated with these Genetically Engineered genes.
