Size might depend on the subject matter. Your sofa and pillows are pale and the art could easily overwhelm it if too large. Can you post a photo of the piece you are considering?

Hi, decoenthusiaste is correct. If you have an image of the art, why don't you just super impose it onto the images provided, using photoshop or other such editing program? I do this all the time for clients, so they can see exactly what the artwork will look at the proposed size, to insure happiness prior to ever committing to the large price point. Beautiful picture, but it will overpower the sofa. you might switch out your blue pillows for purple and orange ones that can stand up to the art. Pulling the color down from the art will make a big difference.
