I guess you have to be smarter than your smartphone. I uploaded a picture, I thought!!! Since posting I have some new random self speed sprouts, I do have some stock growing need that I'm not sure if those little baby ones are a product of or foxglove. Y main question is the bigger plant growing in front of the green base of the parent foxglove. I'm not sure if it's a weed, I looked around to see if I could find a match in my yard, to no answer. Haha. But I've made the mistake of loving some "seedlings" that ended up being seeds and the devastation was enough to make me almost lose my cool :) thanks for the help, even prior to the actual picture posting(doh!)

Bottom right you have a dandelion. The bright green prickly plant right up against the old foxglove is not a foxglove. It looks like a thistle to me. Touch it and then touch the foxglove. You'll feel the difference.

I've been super lax in weeding to see what pops up until I'm sure! Boo maybe spring will have some surprises for me! Thank you

I agree with flora about the thistle and dandelion. Get them both before they set seed as they self sow and soon you will have many more weeds in your bed, The seedlings behind them next to the foxglove look like fg seedlings that will need to be dug up this fall and spaced so they can grow into nice plants.
