I don't notice a difference in the metal, but I do see a difference in the glass. That would bother me.

Hmm, in my opinion the two styles don't look good together (hard to tell from photo on the glass and metal match). The pendants look more transitional, and the island light looks like late 80s modern.

I don't think the glass or lines matches either. Love the larger one, but I'd keep looking for a smaller one .

OKay, so I already bought the smaller ones. Builder is pressuring me to decide. He wants to install next week! Need a larger one for the island.

I could just match them all from the same set but I was trying not to do that.

Thanks! I was leaning towards the 2nd one as well. So . . . should I get the 1st option to go over the breakfast table? Or is that too much of the same? I was trying to be a think outside the box person and not a matchy matchy person like I tend to be. But I am scared of screwing it all up. I have lots of other fixtures I like for over the breakfast table but I don;t know if any of them will go. This is my fave but I think it is too heavy and not different enough in shape but too different in style:

That Kichler Krasi is a warm bronze. If that is the light you LOVE, I would start there. You don't like the pendants from that line, right?

I had hired a designer at one point to help me with some other stuff and asked her opinion on the pendants. I did like them but she is the one who suggested I go with glass to give it a lighter feel as I have a very big wall of stacked cabinets that are stained very dark. My problem is I LOVE almost every one of the fixtures I have put up here. They just don't all go together and I already bought the original one which I do love love love so I am trying to work off that. Hubby wants to just put a ceiling fan in the breakfast area and call it a day. I hate ceiling fans! As practical as they are -- I want something pretty!

So this is your kitchen, right? And which "original one" do you mean you bought? The first silver pendant you posted at the top of this thread? what light do you have over the sink?

I think you should put the large Kichler Krasi warm bronze pendant over the sink, the Kichler Krasi warm bronze 4 light chandelier over the breakfast table, these bronze Kichler Everly warm bronze glass pendants over the bar and this bronze trough chandelier from West Elm over the island??

Thanks kiktx! I appreciate your help and suggestions! To answer you . . . no light over the sink. We put a recess can right above the sink. I do not want to put clear glass (thought that was my original plan) anywhere as I know the dust will show and drive me crazy and I am not good at keeping up with dusting. That's why I went with frosted. And yes, the pendant I already bought is the one at the very top of the thread. Right now I am leaning towards doing the original pendant and then the matching drum fixture over the island and the 5 light chandelier over the breakfast. Not what I originally wanted as far as everything matching but I am having no luck trying to piece together things from different sets/manufacturers.
