We are in the middle of a huge remodel - which includes adding on to our house, vaulted ceilings, new metal roof, covered front porch, new flooring in our upstairs, etc. (I'll probably be posting quite a few times in the coming months).

The color I chose for our house is green. We are going to do board and battens for the siding with a white trim going around the house to cover the Z line (basically below the window line). We are going to do white trim on the corners of the house and around the windows and doors. On the front of the house we will be doing cedar shake on the triangle above our porch and do stone work that will be the same height as the white trim that covers the Z line.

My current dilemma is our trim color for the roof. We will be getting a metal roof, gutters, and downspouts. The color for all of those will be a dark brown. Should we pain the roof trim white or dark brown?
