Do you find the ipe warps at all? We have had a wall like this re-done about 4 times as the wood wraps and bows pretty bad - contractor is at a loss to tell is why this keeps happening and now wants to use redwood (Sacramento ca)

The last time we were on that particular site was about 1 1/2 years after the install and the Ipe looked fine. Ipe does swell a lot so making sure there is plenty of structure holding it in place is important

I did something similar on gates..but used stained cedar..hope this helps
