Hi Mama,

It looks like Rock Cress to me, which means it could be either Aubrieta or Arabis. Spring blooming, probably lavender or pink, could be white. The stems get long and bare with foliage only on the very ends, and it can be hard to cut back to keep it "compact," which is the way I like it, but if you "let it go" I think it'll just look bigger and bigger every year and still keep going with the skinny, bare stems underneath. I didn't have the patience to cut mine back a "little at a time" this year, and I may have killed it--still waiting to see! It's fairly easy to start from seed, especially winter sowing.
