Sharlown's recommendation for leaded windows is an excellent solution to provide both privacy but allow light. Grass weave shades would be complimentary to the craftsman architecture but the sidelights are awfully narrow. The leaded glass is the best option. Alternatively you could create an enclosed entry courtyard with a secondary gate or door to your front door. This would give you privacy and create an inviting entry.
