I haven't had experience with the Lugarno sconces and their white silk shades but I have had white silk shades in my bathroom for years with no problem. I would choose the white silk. I believe these are white silk shades below.

I thought the same thing, Patricia, until further research told me the RH silk are mildew resistant and a better option for the bathroom than the linen. Also, our bathroom is big and ventilated... the mirrors never even fog up. I'll just have to be careful with my hairspray! I also figure it's an inexpensive thing to switch out later if I need to. I just love the look of the shades! Happy to hear you've had success with them, Mark!

Houstonloves --I'm about to order the same shades for the campaign single bathroom sconces, did you choose the white or bright white? I can't find anything online comparing the two colors so it makes it difficult to choose!

I went with the bright white, and I am happy with them. As you can see, they are not super white, but I also am not using cool light bulbs.

It is frustrating that RH doesn't show side by side colors in any of their source books, online or in their showroom! They have the same finish and shade on EVERY lamp. Definitely influences my next purchase.

I am trying to figure out the same thing for a powder room where I want to install two lugarno single sconces outside the mirror. I nixed the ivory color bec I don’t want it to look yellow so am in between the white or bright white. The pedestal sink and toilet will be white and the floor is hardwood. And I plan to order the 60 watt bulbs that they recommend on the RH site for the sconces. does anyone recommend one color over the other?
