Just brought home a new 247.881731 (Good sale this time of year) and noticed a few new things. The "bag" with ignition keys and manual also included a card for a mail in rebate for a 10oz. bottle of StaBil. Guess the OEM's are getting tired of fighting over ethlene damage. Also, first Craftsman item I've ever seen that DIDN"T come with a parts manual or list? I called Sears and they said they no longer have that. Easy enough to go online and look at it, but suppose they have to save pennies somewhere. Already looked up the Shear Pins, Sears wants $3 each plus S&H so I ordered eight from from Amazon for $12.50, no S&H, gotta love Prime :-)

Started first pull, runs good, everything operates smooth, Sears assembled and adjusted and did it right? Doesn't come with drift cutters, but $18 at Amazon so that's not a problem. Probably order some chains for it as I have a driveway on a hill and ice storms can be a problem here.
