tips advise for a very beginner

Hello everyone,

I just purchased some seeds for Dionaea m. 'Red Piranha'. I also got some Sphagnum Peat Moss and some Perlite. I got some distilled water and a egg cartridge type starter planter that holds 10. I got some gravel and another container to hold the starter planter. I'm am going to mix 50% Peat Moss and 50% Perlite and pack it into the starter planter. I'm then going to use a pencil to put a hole in about half way down put a seed in and cover it back up. I'm going to put gravel in the big container and fill that up a little with water. Then I'm going to put the starter container on top of the gravel. Then pour some water to moisten each section. There is a hole on the bottom so it will run thought. I'm hoping the water in the gravel will evaporate and keep things moist in the starter container. I will transplant as they grow into bigger containers. I live in Arizona and don't plan on having these plants outside.

I've never tried to grow these things before. From what I've read this should be decent start. What I'm looking for is any tips or advise to help me as I go along. These are from seeds so not an actual plant yet. I'll probably do this Wednesday. I just want to make sure I'm on the right track.

Thanks everyone
