Corner Sink

I have been trying to find a corner sink but the choices are limited and then ugly . I am trying now to fit a regular rectangular sink obviously at an angle but am open to ANY suggestions or ideas .

Move the sink elsewhere. Corner sinks waste space, and are difficult to access. Moving it around the corner in order to have it on the straight and to allow a usable corner cabinet would be the most functional option.

That's way to obvious but thank you for the response .Moving this sink could fundamentally require a $7000 partial Reno hence the original question looking for an out of the box solution.

    Kitchen or bathroom?

These are fairly classical - depends on your style and color scheme I guess?

No way that moving plumbing equals 7K. Post your layout for more contextual suggestions.

Your right plumbing does not equal $7m but by the time you include a new counter top , move a major appliance re set the seating requiring changing cabinets etc $7m might be a deal , hence trying to solve the corner sink issue .

i love my corner sink! it's just a regular sink, put at an angle. my base cabinet is a hexagon, i did have filler put to either side so the trash cabinet and dishwasher could all be open at once. this pic was during construction, didnt have all my cabinet doors yet.

Now that is a very useful photograph and that's the direction I was going . Most people comment how bad it is to have a corner sink , bad karma bad vibes bad views but frankly the sink is not place I Want to spend a lot of time at so a clean practical set up is fine by me .

a corner is great as you have the space behind to dry hand wash pots and pans, stand cookie sheets and muffin tins against the back wall.

I hate corner sinks and especially hate them with no window.

no problem stewy, when you come for dinner i'll wash and you can dry!

That'll be darn difficult, nnigrt, as only one person can stand at a corner sink at a time. Which is one of my pet peeves with them. They turn a kitchen into a single worker space rather than sharing multiple tasks between workers.

nnigrt: what size cabinet did you use and what sink?

    It looks great.

thanks vaquilter. the cabinet was a bit of a hodgepodge frankenstein job, its 27" across the face, but the contractor basically bought a face and built the cabinet into the corner, on site. its hexagonal, mostly, but deeper than a cabinet usually is for a corner, i think, 34" front to back. its a 26"wide blanco sink, with set back center drain.

(oh, and it has a wider arch on the kickplate now, that one was cut incorrectly)
