I'd just about given up hope of any new posts and finally cat_mccall comes to the rescue.

Your plants are definitely bromeliads and are mini Neoregelias, although I don't know their specific name.

They do look badly dehydrated though, were they left unwatered for a long time? As well as watering the potting mix, they need to have a bit of water down in the central cup of each plant as well.

Depending on just what Neoregelia it is, the flowers could be white through mauve to light purple and are formed down in the centre of the rosette and are often not seen as they are small and often partly covered by water (See Pic. 1 of Mini. Neoregelia 'Shamrock').

Pictures 2, 3 and 4 are typical examples of the size mini Neoregelia plants can reach when well grown.

I just got these plants a couple of days ago and they were very dried out. There were 3 of them in little containers and I put all in the pot they are in now. I have been giving them lots of water, and you probably can't see it in my pic, but the central cups do have water and I have been trying to keep them filled.

I will check out your link because I need all the advice I can get!!
