Hi - thank you for your interest. This item is truly white. It is not cream. White can come in a few different shades from extremely, almost blindingly white, to a more muted or slightly off-white. Totally disagree with you. It is definitely not white. I have a variety of different shades of white in my home and it is not even close.

Hi - do you own this item? I guess I'm confused by the question if you do. If you are relying on the photo alone, color can appear different on different computer monitors. I bought two of the stools and had to return them.

Hi - I'm sorry to hear the product did not work out for you. I checked our records and do not believe you purchased these from EBPeters but perhaps another vendor on Houzz or another website. We have sold many of these with a 100% satisfaction rate, no returns, and no complaints about the color not being white. If there is ever a question about color tone or matching of colors to decor we always encourage our customers to order an upholstery sample if available.
