On the brick, did you apply the "bagging" or "sacking" technique (troweling on of the mortar) and then paint over it? Could you share the sage -like color of the posts?

This house does have a "sack" finish in regards to the mortar. I could not find in our notes whether the white was a painted finish on top of the sack finish, or just a full coverage mortar wash. We often spec tinted mortar washes.

I do not have the color of the posts. The homeowner did final color selections.
