Love it, I wish I had more room I'd have one, two, or maybe more, easier picking than poles. Maybe a grand allee :).

They look good. I've done this a couple of times over a path on the allotment using pliable stems from pruning trees but yours looks much more solid.

I love mine too! I have Blauhilde on mine, it's so nice to pick in the shade, aside from how beautiful the arches are.

Wow, Blujen--Blauhilde is beautiful, and so very productive! Do you eat them as snap beans? Do they have a beany flavor (my favorite)? I may put them on my list for next year. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I'm really happy with them! Yes I'm eating them as snaps, I've read they're good as shellys as well but I haven't gotten that far with them yet. They're very tender and not extremely beany, but not sweet either - delicate is the best way I can describe the taste? We're loving them, had them for lunch and dinner yesterday!

Thanks for the description, Blujen. I read up a little on them from various seed sources, and they really look like they'd be fun to try. One site said to avoid discomfort, they must be cooked before eating. Really? I'm used to eating a few raw whenever I pick, and I sometimes juice green beans. That wouldn't stop me from trying Blauhilde, but it seems odd.
