Hi there I'm not actually a Gardener but an artist and I sometimes use seeds to add texture to my paintings I once used seeds with water colour and to my shock a few days later the seeds started growing on my painting which took me by surprise ( but thinking about it it's quite obvious that that would have happened so I was a bit naive and silly to that

As seeds + water = growing)

I just pick cheap seeds here and there of different variety and sizes to apply to artwork rather than the intention to grow them. I asked around on the art boards and know one knows so can anyone tell me how I can use seeds for art in the future but prevent them from growing prior to using them
