I suspect the problem may be with the person grouting and not the grout. Without any pictures, it is difficult to say. This said, as long as you have selected one of the major grout manufacturers such as Custom, Laticrete, Mapei, etc., I'm sure they will stand behind their product if there is a grout issue.

I've been thinking about your dilemma. Was the picture taken after immediately finished or is this a picture taken several weeks or months thereafter? If this is a picture after months of use, it is also possible you're seeing soap and water deposit build up. I have seen similar problems especially where drainage is slow or inadequate. Before you tear it apart, you should try a good grout cleaner like phosphoric acid and/or CLR.

Assuming this is a deposit build up problem, the reality is it will reoccur and need constant maintenance into the future. Wiping the shower floor down after use would definitely help though.

It didn't look bad initially. After they installed a section with a lighter grout it started getting bad. Then they washed down the walls it got worst. After I asked them to fix it they tried a sulfuric acid wash...that's the picture you see. I really don't think the pigment is the issue. There are some dark area gradually coming back.
