"we have 6 kids and like to host family events (45 for christmas dinner). we would like a large island, wide isles for multiple cooks, 60” double oven, large fridge/freezer, and a large window vs multiple windows on the 17’8” wall to maximize the view. the living room ceilings are vaulted to the second floor and the kitchen/family ceilings are 9 ft."

A 60 " range and a 72 inch hood and the make up air to pair with all of this? Unless accounted for, .......nobody in here will be breathing.

A kitchen, can not be planned for 45 people at Christmas, which comes once a year, along with any other holiday.

Start with the fridge and sink problem blockage, add the dining for twelve problem

Forty eight inch clearances are BEFORE counter overhang and appliance handles.

We can't really read all dimensions...and nobody family size aside needs 60" of range.

Get a pro kd in there and a huge budget

Will suggest that you hire an architect or a kitchen designer. If you want a large and more functional kitchen walls will need to be moved and the new kitchen configured so that it works well especially since you have a large family.

+1 to a certified kitchen designer on site (esp for measurements and access to their cabinet and other pros) it’s a complicated space and you have lots of requirements - I don’t think its a diy or crowdsource project
