Bathroom renovation

A fellow Realtor recommended us to her client that just bought a really cute house. Everything in the house was "done", except the one full totally outdated bathroom. We stepped in, and working with the new home owners designed the space and had it ready for when they moved in. These are the before and afters.

    Which is which?

I really like the black and white version with chess board accent.

Although the vintage black and white is cute, I would so much rather shower in that new beautiful white subway shower.;))

Love the black and white. What a shame to change it to a room that is devoid of personality!

I like the before and after. There's something classy about the black, but I understand wanting a lighter feel.

I love the white tile and white marble and the more efficient use of the space.

Love the new look! The black was overpowering and felt almost depressing. Good job.

I'm wondering what kind of paint you used on the wall heater?

@diyapril It was just a can of white, heat resistant spray paint. I bought it Home Depo.

The before is not as "fully outdated" as you think. The sink faucet, for example, is a very recent style.

Love the white! So light & bright!

The black and white was a good design and the execution looked excellent too. Way more character than boring white-on-white, though the black tile in the enclosure may have been a PIA to care for.
