I agree with Nancy regarding the column! It adds a bit of interest to the facade. Look at a light gray close to the grout color for your trim. Don't forget to paint your storm door black as well so it blends in with your front door. Are you planning on adding any landscaping?

Think about really nice window boxes with bright flowers like ivy leaf geraniums etc., under the two smaller windows to bring them into line with the larger window to the left. Is that breeze block on the column? It is hard to tell from the pic. If it is, I would respectfully suggest cladding or it or preferably having two new columns, one on either side of the top of the steps. Grey slate on the porch and stairs, a blue grey paint on the door and storm door and a really nice big planter (or three!) to the right of the stairs. Landscaping will make an enormous difference too.
