The Professional Photo Difference

I am a seasoned real estate agent working in the Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA metro area, it surprises me how sellers will short themselves by hiring an agent that seems to offer them a "DEAL". Cutting the commission is not the only way to increase a seller's bottom line.

A savvy agent will make sure the house (no matter the price range) is staged, cleaned and presented to the public in it's best light. Having professional photographs is just one of the many tools my team and I use to increase the amount a seller nets from their sale.

These "Before's" were taken by me with my Sony SLR, the "After's" were all taken by my professional photographer. If you want the pro look, hire a pro!

Wow! this is great and interesting. Any chance they could redo all the pictures of me? lol. I'm having this problem when I think about uploading pics onto Houzz. In person certain rooms in my house look great on camera I am ready to start all over again.

Wow. What a difference. I paint and I have a hard time getting good pictures of my artwork. This is good to know when I get ready to sell anything!

Thank you for posting these shots...the high quality photos and staging make a much more attention getting listing.

I have seen some really poor quality real estate photos recently. One agent's camera had a dirty lens so every photo has a streak across the middle of the frame. Another recent listing has a front sidewalk on an incline but whoever did the photo editing posted it with the sidewalk being flat and the house tilted.
