Tell us where you live first. That will help determine what you do with them in winter.

Unclear what you potted them up in. Soil? Sand? It doesn't sound like they are that far along yet. If you know them to be rooted, I would pot up individually in good potting soil + perlite for drainage. If you are way down south zone 8 or warmer, you could probably plant them out in the soil, but if you are colder you will likely need to put in a cool greenhouse, coldframe or indoors this first winter.

What is this 'box' you are talking about? Is this a propagation box? If so, I would leave them in their after potting up. They can probably use the added humidity and protection.

I used sand. In the clear a Solo cups. The roots were tiny, just starting to root. The box is a big Sterlite container with a lid. It is in bright shade on the back porch.

Well, safe side would be to plunge them in a cold frame of some kind for this winter. You may have to keep them covered to retain humidity. However, your ground may not freeze very far down, so you might be OK to plant outdoors. BUT, camellias usually do better when planting a larger size.

If they are well-rooted, I would pot them up in larger pots with a very well-draining commercial mix + perlite. In cups it is too hard to maintain even watering. If you have an unheated room or garage with a bright window, that might be a good place for them as well. If not well rooted, keep baggies over them to retain humidity, but make sure soil is not too wet otherwise you could lose them to rot.
