I haven't tried it, but I would think it would be cheaper and easier to just buy small artificial trees? Send a picture if I'm missing something here!

Guess the point here is to save money.

It's cheaper to go to a discount store like Home Goods and buy one. You'll get a cute tree from $10-$20.

Plus, it's already made!

I bought a few last year to have little trees in each room, and decorated them with tiny lights and cheap mini ornaments.

OTOH, if you like crafting and the idea of making it yourself, then go for it!

It's just not necessarily more expensive to buy one these days.

Not sure how big you are wanting, but here you can get 10 of them for $5. Not sure you can make them much cheaper but best of luck to you if you do! They are cute!

Thank you so much CF. Not interested in the very tiny ones, but the site you gave me has a great variety of sizes, so I'm assured of finding what I need. Tks again.
