I work for a large nursery and we'll give away or sell that # of used pots. 5 is no big deal for even a small nursery or garden center so I'd suggest you go there. At the most they might charge you a buck or 2.

Do they have to be unused? I wouldn't care but you might. Can always clean & disinfect them sufficiently, then pot up your blueberries.

How do you clean and disinfect them? Would regular dish soap be okay? I don't want to use anything too harsh and accidentally kill my plants.

Also, if I can't find anything around here, do you think I would be able to purchase from your nursery? Thanks again.

A solution of bleach, soap & water soaked for an hour or so should kill most pathogens. Then, obviously, rinse well and let dry.

As far as getting them from my nursery; I'm in Niagara,Ontario, Canada. I have no idea where you are in the world but I would still recommend you buy or get free from a local greenhouse or garden center. Shipping will cost you so you'll end up paying more than is reasonable, IMO, esp. for used pots.

Have you explored your local dollar stores? Mine are full of plastic pots & pails of various sizes & colors that I would use in a pinch if I couldn't find a garden center to give/sell pots to me. Even some plastic wastebaskets would do!

Drill a few drainage holes in & you've got a planter!

I was told at Trader Joe's that the cut flowers are delivered in 12" or so pots that they don't use. I'm waiting on seeing if I can get them from there. Fingers crossed!

Grocery store bakeries sometimes will give you the empty 5 gallon buckets that held icing.

hardware store usually can pick up 5 gal buckets for a few $... drill holes in the bottom and your ready to go. We have cats so we buy litter in buckets and reuse those.
