Family/Living room design

Hello, I have a white leather sofa and love seat, white walls, off/whiteish tiles in family room open to the kitchen and kitchen table area. Hi have no color theme selected. Also, family room has entire door wall glass featuring a huge rectangular pool with a lake behind it. I need an 8x11 rug really badly. I have a designer's dream of a space to work with, however, I have NO IDEA how to begin decorating.

HI -- Maybe go out and find a fabric or the rug first and that should give you a color direction . Also look on search for white family / living rooms and save in your ideabook for rooms you like . Can you give us some photos -- that would help...Thx
