I don't know if it's really a wow, but a runner would be nice in there. Maybe a striped shade? Love the dark floors and counters.

Love the change! The crown molding on the cabinets is great! Did you paint them yourselves or hire a contractor?

One factor that makes some of the newer white kitchens so charming is glass doors and special cabinets - like plate rail or wine rack cabinets. (Adding these features increases the charm of wood cabinets too.)

Consider glass in your corner cabinet door:

Consider changing or retrofitting a cabinet - maybe the one by the fridge.

Consider stainless appliances as they need to be replaced. Many stainless have a lot of black trim on them which could help them all blend during the transition.

Your new kitchen is very pretty! These suggestions are just ideas - not meant in any way to imply the kitchen doesn't look great now - it does.

It looks very nice. I love the floors. I think the window treatment needs to be another color. The stripe that was mentioned is a consideration. When you say something is missing, I think it is the island. It appears that it needs to be beefed up - maybe larger corbels, a different countertop, and different legs - not sure. Maybe it needs lighting over it - a chandelier or something?

One more thought. You are thinking of painting wall gray - very popular - almost too popular if you want it to pop with individuality. Do you have an accent color used in other parts of the house? Consider one of the sea glass teals or grey / blues or any shade that will pick up your accent color.

Love it. Is that beadboard on the wall? Have you considered putting the same on the sides of the island?

I think you need some color. Paint the walls a nice color (blue or green) and add a Roman shade with pattern and paint the stools out. You don't have a backsplash which could bring in color or pattern.

Or an interesting backsplash... and I don't mean it has to be blue or green. Your new kitchen is really nice btw :-)

I love the dark floors. Just a bold blind in your style-oversize modern floral? Horizontal multicolor stripe?- and painting the stools a bright coordinating colour would give a wow. A bright toaster or vase in the deep corner could be nice too?

I love it! I agree with the other posters, just add some color. Definitely change up the shade and maybe a light over the island. You did a beautiful job.

It's very beautiful as is! You have to decide if you want to add color in a valance, countertop accessories , etc. or keep it neutral and elegantly understated. If you like plants, some potted herbs could add texture and color. I'd love to see the light fixture with a bit more sparkle, but that is not everyone's style. I also think one or two glass front cabinets that are lit to show something beautiful can add sparkle, but depending on the contents of the cabinets, this may not be practical. I agree that the wreath is not adding to your polished look where it is. What a gorgeous kitchen overall!

Your kitchen looks great, you did a wonderful job. I just feel that perhaps the backsplash needs to be changed as the picture makes it look like one continual strip of white with no definition between the upper and lower cabinets. Be proud of your hard work and enjoy your new kitchen
