The counter top is marble. I can do a little research to get you the type if you wish. Pls lmk. Cheryl

Hi Ashley - I found the type of marble that was used. It's called Breccia Pontificia.

I am attaching two (2) pix of the slab for you to see how dramatic it is. It has very pronounced veining and, as a designer, I love that. It gave us an opportunity to make our templates placing the veining where it would be noticed and enjoyed for it's natural beauty.
