Worm Bin Issues

I started a small worm bin in a 1.75 quart plastic ice cream container. It houses about 25-30 dillies.

I started it with a damp shredded newspaper, shredded paper towel tube, and shredded toilet paper tube combo. After a day of it sittin' there I put a used tea bag in there. Early the next mornin' I put afew dry oats in there and then later that mornin' I put the dillies in there. First I took everythin' out and put the dirt from the dillie's container in the bottom. Then I put the beddin' with the tea bag in the middle, and then I put a dry cover over the beddin' (dry cover is made up of the same stuff as the beddin'). After two days I added ground eggshells. The lid has a large portion cut out and window screen over it.

Three days later, today, I open the closet that I keep them in for temperature control and smell somethin' that is a bit off. It's a small version of my bigget bin that has the same stuff inside, except it houses red wigglers. The bigger bin smells fine, but this bin smells weird. I looked inside and saw white fuzz. I'm assumin' it's mold. I started removin' the beddin' until the smell went away. The dillies seemed fine, but from my readin' I'm not so sure the bin is fine, but I don't exactly know.. Anyone know anythin'?

Tips and information are greatly accepted!

Thanks,
