Sorry to be a bit mean but it looks like cheap builder cabinets with a coat of paint. You gained nothing except a bit of brightening. The light color highlights the standard overlay of the cabinet doors and drawers accentuating the wide stiles (wasted space) between the doors that is present on such stock cabinets. If that is what the budget could support I understand the attempt. A slide in range and some tile backsplash might have helped relieve the browness.

I think you must have been on a budget here......a couple more things you can do that are very inexpensive, put in under-counter lighting, it will make a huge difference. Paint the door that looks grey, white. The overhead ceiling fan with the light fixture is pretty bad, I would consider rethinking what you want and need here, it looks dated. Overall, you did a good job, I would consider a nice rug to break-up the dark floors, I must tell you, dark floors will show every bit of dust and dirt, so at least you will have to clean your floors often, be prepared for that. The last thing, is I think your trash can will serve you better if you buy a rubber one and put it under the kitchen sink, that is where it should be if you plan to cook in there. Over all, Good Job, just tweak it a bit as you have the time and money. Def, do those under-counter lights.

Great job! I'm shocked at the people who don't like it. Not everyone has a sky's-the-limit budget, so comments about not spending or doing enough are uncalled for. The after is much better than the before!
