I have a large open room with a dining room that steps down into the living room. From the step to the fireplace is 15'. Can I put a 10' 5" sofa in that space? It will float in the room as there are windows on the other walls. If the sofa was placed in the other direction I would have more space, but then the back of the sofa would face the step and I think eliminate the open view of the living room. Thoughts?
