I have a weird problem with my Liftmaster 1/2 hp garage opener wireless keypad. The garage door opens fine with remote or the opener built-in in the car, but has a hard time opening using the wireless keypad. It opens, but only after lots of tries.

The problem first surface last year, I noticed the wireless keypad was having problem opening the door, but it still opened after lots of tries and pressing the enter key fast repeatedly . The problem went away after a week or two so I never thought more about it. But about a month ago, the problem surfaced again, the door took a long time to open using the wireless keypad, but the remote and everything else worked fine. I tried to change the battery, resetting the code, nothing helped. I even bought a new Chamberlain wireless keypad, and the same problem still exist. Opening the door is a game of luck, occasionally it opens on first try, but most likely it will take at least 10 tries to open, often much longer. Resetting the code doesn't help. One thing I noticed is that it seems to open easier when the car is not in the garage, not sure if that's just coincidence or not.

Did anyone else have similar problems? Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks.
