I'm interested in this new variety. Is anyone growing it in the gulf coast states i.e. Louisiana, MS, AL? I see that Vernon is a recommended pollinator but would it be likely any other rabbit eye variety could also be a pollinator?
I have experienced as long as there are enough pollinator bees and two different cultivars blooming at the same time whether it is rabbit eye (RE) or high bush (HB), it can be pollinizer plant for each other. This year I had Sunshine Blue (SHB) and Climax (RE) blooming at the same time and I had good amount of berries on both of my plants.
