Ventilation with Humidity sensor-- CA requirements

The state requires that we put ventilation in our bathroom that has a humidity sensor (and is energy star, but, whatever). We have a skylight in the bathroom, so we want to put a wall fan in the skylight tunnel to capture the humidity that travels up that tunnel. We are having trouble finding a wall fan of sufficient suction (>/= 110CFM) that has a built in sensor. So, two things:

1. any leads on a wall fan of that type? Google is failing me, we don't have a contractor to ask.

2. anyone know if inspectors will allow a separate humidity sensor that controls the fan, such as the one linked below? The problem I see with a sensor next to your light switches is that your room has to be awfully foggy to sense humidity way down at waist level as opposed to at the ceiling. I don't mind that, but maybe the inspector will....
