Up until about two months ago this was a thriving indoor begonia. I had it for about seven years. Then it got a fungus gnat infestation and I think I ending up killing it trying to get rid of the gnats. (Didn't water it for awhile and also may have used too much hydrogen peroxide in my mix to kill the larvae). Anyway, I know the plant is definitely dead as it is brittle, brown and crispy, but I was wondering whether any of you think this root is dead. I assume it is, as it is a light brown colour, but was wondering if there is ever a chance of a seemingly sea plant growing back from its root material. The only reason I care to revive it is sentimentality. But I am also just curious.
