Stucco will look great on your home! I highly recommend it. Your roof pitch and dormers say more about French chateau style than about Arts and Crafts...go with that.

I understand that you don't want white, so a limestone taupe or a beige would be the next choice. Look at La Habra stucco colors online. There are a number of colors available...and custom color matching is an option. The attached image is a custom color match to a BM color chip.

Thank you for your comment! There are some stucco homes in the area that look so plain and we can't figure out why. Most are a very light color and the stucco color seems so bland. Could it be they type of stucco application that is making the houses look bland. I think some color variations in the stucco color would give it more life but maybe that's to hard to achieve? Your thoughts? and thanks again.

Most of the time we are looking to avoid variation in the stucco top coat color. We use an acrylic top coat that is pretty bomb proof and low maintenance. The project you see has a lot going on, so we kept texture to a minimum. A textured wall, strongly textured wall will have more variation...but will not coat out with the acrylic top coat. That said, one of the most gorgeous color schemes I ever saw was a French chateau style house with natural gray stucco and a sage green trim. The stucco was rough in texture,so dirt and dust transformed it into a more varied color over time. Topped by a gray slate roof with half round copper gutters and downspouts. Yummy. Marvin has a similar sage green cladding available and I've been hoping for chance to use it...just haven't had the project yet.
