In pulling weeds in some gravel around my lawn, I found 'tons' of these about one inch bugs/beetles that are bright red ... they seem to be only in the gravel... but close by is a Chaste tree (Vitex) & Golden Rain tree. Any idea if either of these trees have pests like these? First I thought they might be the bugs that get on Boxelder trees but these are bigger & not at all the same. Will try & get some pics of them to send for better description; they are all over the gravel!

Thanks!
