Right now here in Miami we
are awaiting the remains of Erica. This much rain will affect those of
us attempting to get a jump on starting the winter crop early. But we
have to consider that this is south Florida and it is still hurricane
season. So it is a case of you sow your seeds and take your chances. I
have plenty of seed and will restart my seeding after this has passed.

Well, at least Erika was not that "bad"...

Some flood here and there, but no biggie.. fortunately.

About 5000 miles away, here in the NW corner of the US of A is also raining, after almost 3 months of pause. But no storm, no flooding, just gentle rain.

It is amazing that with all that rain in FL, the temps are still in mid 70s at night. We are down to mid 50s.

Another hurricane is on the way. Irma this time. This could be bad. Time will tell.
