what type of wood is the flooring approximate cost?

We live in Greenville SC and would like to add a proch on the back with dark wood floors or slate...could you tell me what this is and then how it comapres cost wise to slate. Thank you!

The flooring is Ipé. A Brazillian hardwood. It is sold as flooring and decking. It is naturally insect and rot resistant and is very durable. It is comparable to higher end composite decking in terms of pricing. A slate floor would likely be quite a bit more expensive due to the need for a masonry foundation.

Yes it was called Windy Ridge - Ten. field stone. 3" - 4" thick
